My medium of choice is primarily charcoal, however I also use pastel, sculpture and photography in my creative process. My subjects of focus are primarily topics that relate to the African diaspora experience. I have a strong interest in the silhouetted figure and how I can engage with shape and form through silhouettes. I have a particular interest in hair as a signifier of cultural expression and beauty.
